Our client for this job in Noosa Heads contacted us looking for a quality job that would last. We met and chatted through her options, landing on this beautiful Merbau deck with a polycarbonate roof over the top, to maintain natural light within the house. The durable hardwood frame beneath is guaranteed to last for many years to come. Currently in the works is a matching Merbau screen which will include several discreet, lockable gates to provide access to some much needed storage space underneath. We also reused the savageable old decking boards to build a little deck for a cleaner storage space beneath.
The concrete path also in the works to the side of the house will alleviate issues with sand movement on the sloping block, while also creating a clean, easy to use space. This is to be further helped by the connection to stormwater lines from the drains in the path as well as the downpipe from the polycarbonate roof.
We love the frosted glass balustrade, which provides a great level of privacy while maintaining natural light as well as offering a different texture to the space.
