Our Work
This shed fit-out followed a tight budget without compromising on results. Following our client’s love of the colour black and wood products, we applied concepts from past architectural work to make this home gym/brewery come to life. With our budget friendly choice of CD grade plywood, the black shadow lines helped tick the box of room for product expansion and contraction, as well as giving the walls a hint of black to match the rest of the interior. Window reveals and architraves still to come!
With black electrical outlets throughout, adjustable lighting, wall mount TV, raw wooden slab bench and a blacked out shed frame to maintain a slight industrial look, we’d be hard pressed to find a better space to hang out, work out and enjoy a beer!
Lisa Noosa work
Our client for this job contacted us looking for a quality job that would last. We met and chatted through her options, landing on this beautiful Merbau deck with a polycarbonate roof over the top, to maintain natural light within the house. The durable hardwood frame beneath is guaranteed to last for many years to come. Currently in the works is a matching Merbau screen which will include several discreet, lockable gates to provide access to some much needed storage space underneath. We also reused the savageable old decking boards to build a little deck for a cleaner storage space beneath.
The concrete path also in the works to the side of the house will alleviate issues with sand movement on the sloping block, while also creating a clean, easy to use space. This is to be further helped by the connection to stormwater lines from the drains in the path as well as the downpipe from the polycarbonate roof.
We love the frosted glass balustrade, which provides a great level of privacy while maintaining natural light as well as offering a different texture to the space.
Chris Trex deck
Constructed with Trex Composite Decking, we were wrapped with the outcome of this deck. With our client seeking an easier access point from their laundry door to their clothes line, as well as easier access from the front over a stormwater grate, while expressing concerns of altering the existing, functional slope of the ground, we drew the conclusion of situating the deck where it is now. With a step up against the fence to accomodate a high spot in the terrain, it allowed our client a neat platform to place their outdoor potted plants. Integrating our steps to suit the terrain as well as the stormwater grate left us with an end result of a easy going path down the side of the house, while also leaving access to a sewer main situated between the two decks.
With its guaranteed longevity and lack of maintenance requirements, the Trex decking was an excellent choice for these clients
Warriewood Deck
Another Trex deck, this neat platform was short, sharp and sweet! Providing our client with a low maintenance deck to better utilise an otherwise wasted space. A great spot for them to pop their wet laundry racks, soak up some sun and just to hang out and relax.
